YOUTH PADI SEAL TEAM – Phase One

The PADI Seal Team is a pool based activity program for young scuba divers who want to have fun learning to dive by completing exciting Aquamissions.  This program is open to kids 8 years and older and no prior experience scuba diving is required, although kids should be comfortable and able to maintain themselves in water over their heads.

The PADI Seal Team program teaches responsibility and respect for the aquatic realm. It’s broken into two phases.
Phase one, AquaMissions 1 – 5 are broken down into four, ninety minute sessions, and cover basic scuba diving skills, such as breathing underwater, clearing a mask of water, recovering a regulator and swimming around experiencing the sensation of being weightless. Upon completion of these AquaMissions your child will be recognized as a PADI Seal Team Member.  Seal Team Crew Pak is included and should be picked up when final payment is made one week prior to class start date.  We suggest that you make an appointment to bring your child to be fitted for and select their personal snorkeling gear so they can be prepared before the first class session.

  • When:  Saturdays, on request
  • Activity Fee:  $195 for Part One, based on minimum of two students
  • Bring:  Bathing suit, towel, and personal snorkeling gear (mask, fins, snorkel, anti-fog & gear bag)

JUNIOR OPEN WATER SCUBA

This class is for kids aged 10 and 11 who have completed Phase One of the PADI Seal Team program and are excited to continue their diving adventure.  This course will prepare them to become certified Junior Open Water divers and join their families on vacation diving experiences outside of the pool.  Private sessions with one of our Easy Divers Staff Instructors insure that each child gets complete and thorough attention delivered at a pace that is comfortable and manageable for them.  The initial academics are completed online using our E Learning format, which leaves plenty of time for extended in-water learning and practice of scuba skills.  Open Water certification dives are required for final certification and may be completed on an Easy Divers sponsored trip or by referral with PADI Instructors worldwide.  Open Water training expenses are NOT included.

  • Pricing:  $645 – Private: 1-2 people, $545 – Semi private: you gather 3 – 4 family members
