YOUTH PADI SEAL TEAM – Phase One

ACTION, ADVENTURE AND AQUAMISSIONS

PADI Seal Team is a pool scuba program designed for kids eight and older.  This elite diving team provides all kinds of challenges and learning opportunities as kids spend time completing their underwater Aquamissions.  The Seal Team Program is divided into two phases.  Phase I meets for one registration session and three ninety-minute combination classroom/pool sessions. Kids will learn basic scuba skills and behavior as they earn their membership on the Team. Once a Team Member, there are a variety of Specialty Aquamission dives that can be scheduled upon request.

Participants must complete a medical statement and may be asked to seek permission from a physician if they have a history of certain medical conditions or currently take daily medication.

Each student must have scuba grade mask & snorkel, fins, anti-fog, and gear bag.  Some kids are ready for adult size gear which we sell, and smaller kids will have better luck with some online vendors (info on request). Not only is it important to have gear that suits each student’s individual needs, but taking care of, and keeping up with this gear is the first step towards diving responsibility.  We will teach parents and kids how to select the proper equipment during Seal Team registration no later than one week prior to start.

As students work through their Activity books, their pool challenges (Aquamissions), and their logbooks, they have the opportunity to set and achieve measurable goals.  Please view this program: www.padisealteam.com.

Family members are invited to get in the pool and snorkel or try diving with their children during the last class session.
