Scuba Dive Instruction

As the only PADI Authorized Dive Center in the Mid-South, we offer the full range of PADI dive courses for recreational divers. Start with Discover Scuba Diving, earn your Open Water Diver certification, and continue to advance your skills through the professional Divemaster certification.

Our classes are flexible to meet your schedules. We offer private, semi-private, and group training. Classes meet at our shop on Bonnie Lane, with in-water instruction at the Cordova Family YMCA, just minutes away.

Routine maintenance will help keep your equipment safe and functional for many dives. Our certified technicians can service and repair many brands.

Dive Travel

We love to travel! And we go all over the world to dive. You’ll enjoy our small group trips to boutique dive resorts in Honduras, Philippines, and other exotic destinations.  Or traverse the Bahamas our favorite liveaboards. On our local dive trips, we explore quarries within a few hours drive, and dive the springs in the Florida Panhandle.

History

We’ve been doing this for over 40 years! Easy Divers was founded by Saralynn H. Turner in 1983. Not only did she start a dive shop in land-locked Memphis, but she was also one of the first women in the industry to own and manage a scuba business.  Joe and Jennifer Walton purchased Easy Divers in 2024 after Saralynn’s untimely death. We strive to continue her legacy of providing safe, personalized dive experiences and instruction.
