My first experience with diving was a snorkeling charter while on a trip in Hawaii. At the time I thought it would be really cool to learn how to dive, but how would you do that in a landlocked state? A couple years ago my boys wanted to earn the Scuba Diving merit badge in Boy Scouts, so we scheduled an Open Water class with Easy Divers. At that point I was hooked on this new adventure!
For me diving is a great way to relax and relieve stress. There’s something incredibly peaceful about a dive. Diving is a family activity for us. My wife Gretchen and sons Nick & Evan are all certified divers. We enjoy traveling, visiting new places and sightseeing both above and below water. My family is still active in Scouting. Nick is an Eagle Scout and Evan is well on his way to earning the rank of Eagle as well. I served as a Medic in the US Army for ten years and have worked in the medical device industry since 2005.
As a PADI Instructor I’d love to help you learn about diving, earn the Scuba Diving merit badge, or explore new dive sites on one of Easy Divers’ trips!
