Located in remote Raja Ampat, Indonesia, this resort island is a true tropical hideaway. It is located just south of the equator, hidden in an archipelago of uninhabited islands. The resort island is fringed with powder-white beaches and pristine coral reefs. With a maximum capacity of just 40 guests and a staff-to-guest ratio of 4 to 1, Misool offers exclusive adventure holidays and transformative experiences in pristine nature.
A typical day on resort begins with waking up in your private room with unparalled views. Misool Resort was built entirely of reclaimed tropical hardwoods, milled on site with their own portable sawmill.. Accommodations have been meticulously designed for comfort, privacy, and sustainability. All of the rooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and generously distributed around the undulating karst rock formations of the private resort island. All rooms feature Balinese-style open air bathrooms, wall fans, independent air-conditioning units, fresh hot and cold showers, mini-bars stocked with treats from around the archipelago, and handcrafted furniture and fittings.
After you enjoy first breakfast in the Hive, it is time to board your boat for your first dive of the day. Misool offers over 25 world-class dive sites within a 15-minute radius of the resort, including Fiabacet, Boo, Yilliet, Wobbegong City, and Magic Mountain. The 3D underwater footage of the recent IMAX film 'Journey to the South Pacific' was filmed on Misool Resort's incredible dive sites. You can expect to dive a diverse selection of sites, including a busy manta cleaning station, coral covered walls, reef flats, swim throughs, gentle sea mounts, drift dives, vast hard-coral gardens, placid lagoons, and current-raked pinnacles. Visibility is variable but generally 80+ feet, with temperatures around 78-82 degrees Fahrenheit. All of the dive sites are protected by the 300,000 acre/1,220 sq km Misool Marine Reserve.
After you finish your first dive, you will be served second breakfast on a quiet beach of one of the many uninhabited islands in the reserve, or on your boat during your surface interval. Then you are back in the water for your second dive. After an amazing lunch in the HIve, the afternoon is what you make it! Do the afternoon dive, take one of the many excursions offered, nap on your private veranda, lay on the beach, snorkel the House Reef....the island is yours. A dusk or night dive is offered daily. You will also have the unique opportunity to do a mandarin dive.

PLEASE NOTE:
In order to reserve a trip space on any of our International trips an Easy Divers Travel Agreement and Release must be completed and submitted. We will email the travel application to you upon request. Upon receipt of the completed agreement, the trip space is held for ten days to give each traveler time to respond to the invoice and place the deposit. If the deposit is not received by 5:00 PM on the deadline day, then the space will be returned to inventory or turned over to the first person on the waiting list.
Your Trip deposits and final payments paid for by credit card or PayPal will be subject to a 3% credit card processing fee. We also accept cash or check payments. ALL trip deposits are nonrefundable, full cancellation policy and penalties are available in the Easy Divers Travel Registration and Application that must be provided at time of booking.
TRIP DEADLINE CLARIFICATION
All of our trips have a listed deadline. Each trip budget is based on a minimum number participants for a trip to run as scheduled. The deadline helps us to confirm that there is enough interest to keep the trip on the books. As long as we meet the minimum, the trip will run. We encourage you to call for availability if you would like to sign up after the deadline has passed. Often times we can add you on up until just a few days prior to departure on the local trips. TRIP DEPOSIT POLICY
Your trip deposit and payments are a promise to travel. Reservations are confirmed and staff engaged, so please understand that trip money is nonrefundable. Make your trip deposit as soon as you know you are going and remember to help protect your investment with some version of travel protection insurance. Please review both the Standard Travel Protection policies that cover cancellation for specific reasons and the Cancel for any Reason options.

Remember that diving and smoking/vaping/smokeless tobacco products do not mix. We are a no tobacco product group. Under no circumstances will there be tobacco, vaping, or smokeless tobacco products used at the dive site or group accommodation areas.
